Happy Mother's Day

Hey there! It's Product Spotlight Day at DeNami Design!!! Today we're featuring a newly released sentiment that is DEFINITELY worth adding to your stamp collection! And it's on sale this week for ten percent off!!! WOOHOO! Check it out:

I decided to pair it up with one of our newest chickies:

Since the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment is a cling stamp, I was able to curve it to match it up with the outline of the oval die-cut. I simply die-cut the oval, placed it under my acrylic block and then placed the stamp on top of the acrylic block following the curve of the oval shape. Then, I inked up the sentiment and stamped it. SUPER EASY!

Wouldn't this be a SWEET card for a new mommy???

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to head on over to the DeNami Design Blog to check out all of the FABULOUS creations my fellow DT gals made using this same stamp!

Doesn't his happy little grin just melt your heart?!?!! And he's the perfect size for creating Halloween cards, treat packages, tags, etc!

I am LOVING this kraft, black and orange color combo for Halloween! So classic!!! I handstamped the Harlequin Border several times across the center of the kraft panel to create a fun backdrop for my layered up Mr. Jack O'Lantern! And when I saw that button (My Mind's Eye) I couldn't resist it! (Yep...bought an entire package of buttons for this ONE! HA!) DeNami Product Spotlight: Rainbow

Hey there! It's Product Spotlight Day at DeNami Design!!! Today we're featuring the SUPER FUN Rainbow image!!!

You all know how much I LOVE polka dots, right?!?! So, I couldn't resist making a polka dotty rainbow:

I simply stamped the Polka Dot Background onto Magenta, Golden Tangerine, Leaf Green, and Sky Blue cardstock. Then, I stamped the rainbow image over the polka dots and cut out the colorful arches. Next, I stamped the Rainbow image onto my blank card, ran my adhesive tape runner all over the image and adhered the colored pieces. I added some Small Clouds stamped on white cardstock to each end of the rainbow. I popped them up for some fun dimension!

For my second card, I wanted to showcase an alternative use for the Rainbow image. Here, I used it to create a slice of watermelon!!! Yes, you read that correctly!! Check this out:

I stamped the Rainbow twice in VersaMark ink...once on Leaf Green cardstock and once on Magenta cardstock. Then, I cut out the magenta portion leaving off the outside arch and adhered it to the green rainbow. I cut straight across the bottom of the rainbow and then used part of a scallop circle punch to create a "bite" out of the watermelon. Then, I stamped the seeds in black. It was SO EASY, and I think it turned out pretty sweet!

The lime and magenta background were created with the Three Line Border stamp (LOVE THIS!!), and I thought the sentiment, "You're Sweet," was perfect!

I hope you like my creations for today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head on over to the DeNami Design Blog to check out what my fellow DT gals and our Guest Designer, Nicki, have created!!!! You will LOVE their projects!!!

DeNami Design Sketch Challenge #9

Hi, blog friends! Today we're kicking off a brand new challenge at DeNami Design!!!! WOOHOO!! This time around it's a sketch challenge! Check this out:

Such a FANTASTIC layout! So FUN and SUPER VERSATILE! Here's my take:

I've had this card idea in my head ever since the new "Dropping You A Note" sentiment released on July 1st, and this sketch was a GREAT match for it!

All of the panels are handstamped using images from DeNami Design! You can check out my complete supply list at the end of this post! The spacing on the sentiment is ideal for inking up the word "NOTE" separately! SO FUN!

After spending two weekends working at the DeNami Design booth in Loveland and Colorado Springs I absolutely could NOT resist adding some glitter to the music note! DeNami Design has the MOST BEAUTIFUL display of cards/projects at the stamp shows----everything SPARKLES and looks SO AMAZING!!!! WOW!!!

Are you ready to play along??? Remember...you DO NOT need to have a blog to join us in our challenges! If you don't have a blog, you can upload your photo to Flickr and then link it directly to the respective DeNami Design Blog Challenge post!!! Click HERE to check out all of the challenge details and LOTS of inspiration from my fellow DT gals!!! Can't wait to see what you create!!!!

Sparklers

Hello there! It's Product Spotlight Day at DeNami Design and today we're featuring this SUPER FUN image:

I always LOVED sparklers when I was a kid!!! Every 4th of July our family would get together for a big picnic, and it always seemed like it took FOREVER for it to get dark so we could do sparklers and watch the fireworks!!! Good times!

This card was so much fun to create! My goal was to capture the magic of the sparklers and fireworks that I have such fond memories of! I stamped the Sparklers image, added color with my Copic Sketch Markers, and then added sparkle with a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen! The blue panel is stamped with the Small Starburst image (tone on tone)---a great one to pair up with the Sparklers!

That's all for me today! I hope you're having a fantastic week! We are in Pittsburgh visiting family and friends! It's been TWO YEARS since our last visit, so it's GREAT to see everyone and catch up!!!

Think Green

Hi there! It's Product Spotlight time at DeNami Design! Today we are featuring the Lucky Irish Stamp Set PF44, a perfect little collection of images for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday!

The thing I LOVE about the little petit four stamp sets from DeNami Design is that they are so versatile! For this card, I decided to have a little extra fun and added the little hat (from the Lucky Irish Stamp Set) to the froggy. (Hey...he's green, so I figured he'd probably be a fan of St. Patrick's Day, right?!?!) Then, I used the shamrock and four leaf clover images (also from the Lucky Irish Stamp Set) to handstamp my own patterned paper! So simple and lots of fun!

I made the sentiment using the Tiny Alphabet stamp set from Stampendous!

So...what do you think of my creation?

Are you Irish? Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Would you like to see more ideas about what you can do with the Lucky Irish Stamp Set? Click HERE to head on over to the DeNami Design Blog where my fellow DT girls are sharing some super creative ways to use this set!!

Get Whale Soon

Hello, blog friends! It's time for a brand new challenge at DeNami Design!!! YAY! This time around it's a color challenge (navy blue, lime green, and white):

Here's my take on the color combo:

I featured the adorable Whale H83 and Get Whale Soon F202 sentiment from DeNami Design! I LOVE paper piecing this little guy/girl!

The navy and white polka dot strips are fabric tape that I purchased from the Tinted Mint months ago and have been hoarding (it's just so stinkin' cute---I don't want to run out! HA!).

The buttons are lime green but for some reason want to look more yellowish in my photo. They're from my bag of Tutti Fruitti Boutique Buttons (DeNami Design). Have you ever purchased a bag of these buttons? It's like receiving a little bag of treasure!!! You'll find buttons of all sizes and shapes---round, square, glittered, striped, flower-shaped, etc. I found a FISH-shaped button in my bag of Tutti Fruitti buttons! It's so much fun just digging through the bag to see what you'll find! Makes me feel like a kid again!

I hope you like my card and are inspired to play along in the DeNami Design Color Challenge! Head on over to the DeNami Design Blog for all of the details and to see more inspiration from the incredibly talented DT! I can't wait to see what you create!!!
