It's time for another Product Spotlight at DeNami Design!! Today we're featuring the newly released Sweetheart Mimi!!! I have always LOVED Mimi---she's so chic and stylish! Plus, she's lots of fun to color and/or paper piece!
I stamped Sweetheart Mimi onto an oval that I cut with my Petite Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). After coloring Mimi with my Copic Sketch Markers, I flipped the Nestabilities oval upside down (so the smooth side was facing up), placed it on top of the die cut and used it as a mask. I then applied Rose Bud Memento ink with a sponge around the inside edges. I've seen lots of people use this technique in blogland, but had never tried it. I'm really happy with the results. Here's a closer look at Mimi:
This was also the first time I've ever used a doily on a card! I found these heart-shaped doilies at Michaels and thought they were a perfect combo with my new Martha Stewart Lace Heart Edge Punch!

So classically pretty! Its soft and sweet and delightful! Wonderful job :)
The sponging around the oval is SO pretty. Love all of the texture you added with the punches, buttons, twine, and that gorgeous doily. A heart doily at Michaels? I guess I know where I'm going after the gym today! Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow... Gorgeous!! So many layers, and I love the ALL! Especially that pretty doily peeking from the back. Love that border at the bottom too! Such beautiful details all around.
Lisa, this card is so yummy! I love the doily, along with that heart border punch- it goes along with the Sweetheart Mimi SO well!

Lisa I just love this! So feminine and beautiful! Your copic coloring is fabulous too... I really need to learn how to color things with that much precision with copics! =) Thanks for sharing!
