Bee Mine

Hello, blog friends! Today I'm sharing one last card I made for the annual "Cards From The Heart Card Drive"

I used a bunch of SUPER CUTE Lawn Fawn goodies on this one! The background was created by inking up the hexagons from Interlocking Backdrops with two different colors of ink and then stamping them onto a white cardstock panel to create a honeycomb effect. The sweet little bee and trail are from Hello Sunshine, and I created my own sentiment using Harold's ABCs. I absolutely LOVE Lawn Fawn's alphabet sets---sooooo incredibly easy to use!

I'm going to enter this into the most recent Lawnscaping Challenge:

Lots of Hearts

Hello there, blog friends! I'm back today with a couple more Valentines I created based on this beautiful inspiration photo at Fusion Card Challenge:

Here's my take:

I created some masks (with dies and stamps) and then stamped the teeny heart image in three different colors of ink, concentrating most of the hearts around the masked shapes and then dispersing them further apart as I moved away from the masked shapes. I've seen this technique done with dots before and thought it would be fun to give it a try with hearts for Valentine's Day. These designs would be great for wedding and anniversary cards too.

Here's a closer look at each card individually:

Helpful Tip: I own three of these teeny heart stamps---that way I don't have to clean the stamp every time I switch ink colors and can quickly and easily add more of each color at will throughout the stamping process. It's a big time-saver for sure.

I had so much fun making these cards and hope you've enjoyed my post for today! Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

Love Notes

Since I didn't send out Christmas cards (*gasp*), I'm sending Valentines instead (*happy clapping*). I'm hoping they'll bring giant smiles to the faces of my friends and family.

Here's one of my creations using the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge 106:

This "sending you love" sentiment and adorable heart envelope are a couple of my favorite Valentine's Day themed stamps from DeNami Design. They're so whimsical and totally sweet! Plus, I LOVE paper piecing the envelopes---super cuteness!

I also added a touch of clear sparkle to the teeny hearts with a Wink Of Stella pen. (I told you I'm addicted to that pen, right?!?!)

Hope you had a great weekend!

Flying By

Hi there! Today I'm sharing a card I made for MFT's Wednesday Sketch Challenge 211. Here's the super fun sketch:

And here's my creation:

The frame in the center is from the You Move Me Die-namics set by My Favorite Things. I have always loved and continue to love the shape of that frame!

The stitching lines at the top and bottom of the rustic white panel were created using Dots and Dashes by Paper Smooches. I have to tell you...I am smitten!!! Be prepared to see stitching details popping up on many of my cards.

This card will be flying over the Atlantic to a very sweet friend in Spain! I hope it makes her smile!

Thanks for stopping by!
