Hello there! I finally had a chance to participate in another MOJO Monday Challenge! Yay! These sketches are always so much fun! Click HERE to see the sketch and to find out how you can participate!
I made this card for my nephew, Zack, who turns 14 this month! He's such a sweet kid and tons of fun to be around! That funky string of beads & twine has a loop on one end, so he can remove it from the card and hook it to his keyring or backpack.
Here's a shot of the inside of the card! Inspired by the Paper Crafts Blog, I'm trying to finish the insides of my cards as well as the outsides. (I typically would just leave the inside of the card blank and then handwrite a personal message in there.) Simple touches, but cute.
I have been cleaning and reorganizing my craft room, so it was a total disaster for a little while. I'm making progress, though not as quickly as I had hoped. I'm such a slowpoke at these kinds of things. I'm looking through every box, shelf, and cabinet and then (here's where the delays happen) trying to decide if I want to keep, throw away, or donate the items I come across. I am SO indecisive!! Honestly, I'll look at an item I haven't used in 3 years and think, hmmm...but I might need that some day. Oh goodness! I'll get there, I promise! At least I now have a quarter of my work table cleared for creating again!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!
