Shop 52 Denver - Eight: {Silk Road}

Good evening and welcome to our next stop on the Shop 52 Denver tour! This time around we're heading to a really charming little pocket of downtown Denver, Gaylord Street.

Let's pop into Silk Road, a shop full of unique gifts, home decor items, and jewelry!

I LOVE this shop! When I walked in for the very first time I was greeted with a warm hello and a friendly smile! And I had such a wonderful time admiring all of the handcrafted items for sale here! Silk Road carries unique items made by local artists as well as beautiful products from around the world!

Let's take a look around, shall we?!?!

These little monsters are hand-crafted from metal scraps and nuts and bolts! I thought they were so fun and super cute!

LOVE the color combo and GORGEOUS motif on that glass serving plate! And check out those utensils! They were embellished by a local artist!

And check out this gift idea!!! The coffee scoop was decorated with beads and wire by a local artist, and it actually clips onto the bag of coffee to seal it!!

Here's a photo of some of the other coffee scoops. I actually purchased the second one from the right and packaged it up with a bag of freshly ground coffee for our friends who invited us over to their house for the Steeler game yesterday!

And just LOOK at these adorable hats!!!! I definitely know some cutie patooties who would look absolutely darling in these!!

These hand-knit beanies with the giant flowers stole my heart!!! What a cute little gift for a special little girl---so stylish and fun!

I thought these silk scarves looked so fabulous displayed on this wire mannequin!

Aren't these spoons GORGEOUS?!?!

The sound of trickling water is so calming, and these fountains are just beautiful! I actually have a fountain in my craft studio, and I love it!

These earrings are made by a local artist---so funky and fun!

I was really drawn to the curves in these sculptures and candle holders.

These plates were hand-painted in Turkey! Talk about attention to detail! WOW!

Here's a close-up:

And last, but certainly not least, look at these cute little watering cans! HA!

So...what do you think of Silk Road? Such a quaint little shop, huh?!?! I know that I'll definitely be making it one of my "go-to" places for gifts! To learn more about Silk Road, visit their website by clicking HERE!

I've SO enjoyed all of your posts. It also makes me envious though. Living in Vegas isn't the same. Thanks for sharing Denver through your eyes and photos!
