Today I'm sharing a card I created using the sketch from the most recent Lawn Fawnatics Challenge :)
Here's the sketch:
And here's my take:
I was so excited to have some time in my craft studio this weekend! Lots of birthdays and occasions coming up, so lots of cards to make!!! Plus, I finally had a chance to get inky with the Catherine Pooler inks that I purchased over a month ago ;) I really love these inks! The colors are gorgeous and the coverage is excellent. I had a chance to try them out at a craft retreat back in March and after doing so I just had to order some. BIG THANKS to Shay and Jen for the delightful enabling ;)
After stamping all of that rainbow yumminess in the background, I didn't want to cover it up, so I used a vellum scalloped circle die-cut to ground my focal point.
I'll be sending this off via snail mail to a sweet crafty friend who has a birthday coming up next week! Hope she likes it!!!

This is a delightful card, so happy, so colorful. I like the design and the bright colors and fun black and white stripes. The vellum scalloped circle is a pretty place to add the sentiment.
