Sending Smiles

Having an 11-month-old yellow lab doesn't allow for much time for crafting these days (outside of my design team assignments). But...yesterday I had a little bit of time in the studio while the pup was off bird hunting with my husband. YAY!

I used Freshly Made Sketches Challenge 230 as my inspiration and inked up the adorable and new (to me) Hello Chum stamp set from Avery Elle. Here's the sketch:

And here's my take:

I love that shark with his big, toothy grin!! Totally makes me smile! And the 4mm and 6mm Clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh make excellent bubbles!!!

Hope you like my creation for today!

On a personal note, here are some recent photos of our puppy, Pepper. She's doing awesome! We love her to pieces!!! She's affectionate, strong, smart, energetic, and she has an incredibly adventurous spirit. I'm reading a book called The Mountaintop School For Dogs. The main character talks about watching some pups and noticing that there IS such a thing as joy being bigger than the container that holds it. That, my friends, is so true! I see it in Pepper every day and it makes my heart swell!

If you can believe it...these three photos were taken on two consecutive days. Gotta love life in the mountains!

Thanks for visiting!!! Have a fabulous weekend!

Gorgeous, gorgeous dog and a beautiful and fun card! Love that shark and I really like how you've angled the sentiment to match the line of the shark. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

PS... How funny, you have a "white" dog named Pepper, and our black lab is named Pearl (we have another black lab named Olive)...they are the best!
