Holiday Cards

Hello! Just wanted to pop in really quick and show you how our holiday cards turned out this year!!!

The focal point image is "Winter Scene" by A-Muse and when I saw it I just KNEW I had to order it so I could use it for our holiday cards!! You see, it looks just like our cozy little mountain home!!!

I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers and then added touches of Polar White Flower Soft to create a snowy effect. This was my first time experimenting with Flower Soft and I have to say I really like that stuff! It's so cool and totally looks like snow! The background is handstamped (in my favorite color combo this season: red, kraft/brown, and white) using two snowflakes from "Retro Christmas" (Practicing Creativity Designs) and one snowflake from DeNami Design's "Holiday Stamp Set PF03." Special thanks to my inky buddy, Michele, for letting me borrow that DeNami snowflake *wink*!

I made 30 of these cards. And you're probably thinking---Is she crazy? Including a button on a holiday card? Well, I only included the button on the card for my parents since I was sending it along with their box of gifts. I left the button off of the rest of the cards to save on postage---and they still looked super cute!

Inside the card, I stamped the "Happy Holidays" sentiment from "Retro Christmas" (Practicing Creativity Design) and wrote a little message to each recipient.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a festive holiday season!!!

Oh my goodness, it TOTALLY looks like your house! It's like they saw this picture and made a stamp of it! :) Love how you combined the snowflakes- I KNEW I recognized them! You did a fab job with these cards, Lisa. Everyone is going to love them!

Gorgeous card and a gorgeous picture! I just can't believe how much snow you have! It's the complete opposite over here in Florida. I was actually laying out by my pool just last week. How crazy that we are in such different climates during the same time of year. LoL. But the snow looks absolutely breath-taking! Very beautiful, indeed!
