Good morning! Here's a card I created for the most recent "Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge!"
Here's the inspiration photo:
And here's my take on it:
I really love the brightly colored spots on the peacock's tail feathers, so I tried to mimick those with cardstock ovals and circles. I distressed the edges and inked them up to give them some dimension and more of an organic feel.
I used the "D'vine Swirl" Embossing Folder (Provo Craft) to create the swirly background panel. The animal print on the right is a strip of self adhesive ribbon from DCWV.
It's really quite bright and rather bold, but it's truly the product of free-flowing creativity. I honestly just tried to let myself go on this one. What do you think of it? I'd love to hear your feedback!
This challenge runs until May 13th, and Kim is randomly selecting TWO winners this time around, so you should DEFINITELY play along! Click HERE for the details!

Lisa this is so great! Love it, I was hoping someone would do the feathers but I really had no idea how it could be done! Great job girl! Good luck!

What an excellent take on that peacock picture! I love it!
Um, wow. I think that is all I can say. Your creativity has been in overdrive and I'm drooling. What a fabulous abstract interpretation and love that pattern on the side.
