Embellish Embossing Color Challenge

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone! Here's a card I created for the Embellish Embossing Color Challenge! Click HERE for all of the challenge deets!

Cinco De Mayo always makes me think of bright, festive colors just like the ones Ashley chose for this challenge! I embossed the panels with Papertrey Ink's Woodgrain Impression Plate. I used my Scor-Pal to create an embossed frame around the panels (it's a little hard to see in the photo). Then, I used my Nestabilities Petite Ovals to cut and emboss the oval for the sentiment in the center. 

 

I wanted to keep the card very clean and simple, but when I was "done" I felt like it still needed a little something....so I added the rhinestones under the sentiment.

Are you doing anything fun to celebrate Cinco De Mayo? My husband and I are heading out to our favorite Mexican restaurant! I'm going to try not to fill up on chips and salsa this time....HA! Yeah, right. I say that every time and never stick to it!
