Meow

Popping in today to share a card I made using the sketch over at Fusion Card Challenge.

Here's the sketch:

And here's my take:

This sweet little kitty image from Good Friends (MFT) was stamped and die-cut AGES ago at a retreat. I've hung onto it all this time and finally had the perfect occasion to use it :) This card will be going to our friend to say thank you for checking on our old geezer, Oliver, and for most likely cleaning up a number of messes while we're out of town visiting family.

Oliver is about to turn 17 in May. We found him in the middle of the road when he was about 7 weeks old and have had him ever since. He's always been a very sweet and affectionate cat and up until about 6 months ago he was always very easy going. Now he whines a lot (A LOT) for attention, he's decided he'll only use his litter box if it's sitting literally in the middle of our living area (which allows him to track his kitty litter all over the place), he pukes more, and he's become a bit spiteful (for example---when we were away in October he decided to poop in Pepper's dog bed---ugh). So, I know he's quite a handful...and I really, REALLY appreciate our friend offering to stop by and check on him while we're away. He's truly testing our patience these days, but we love him and I'm a believer in Karma. I hope that someone will be patient with me when I'm an old geezer. HA!

Thanks for visiting!!!
