Inspired by Nature

Hey there! The most recent One Layer Wednesday Challenge was to create a card that was inspired by nature.

It was a GORGEOUS, sunny weekend here in Colorado, so my husband and I took full advantage and hiked up to Rogers Pass. It was 12-miles round trip and an elevation gain of about 3,500 feet. But, let me tell you...it was so worth it----the views were breathtaking (and full of inspiration)!

This photo (from our hike) inspired my card:

And here are a few more photos from our hike:

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamped Images: "Aspen Leaf" (Rubber Stampede), "Background Basics: Woodgrain" (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: "Canary Color Box" (Clearsnap), "Onyx Black VersaFine" (Tsukineko)
Cardstock: "Stampers' Choice White" (Papertrey Ink)
Post-It Notes

Finished Card Size: 5.5" x 4.25"

Your card is even more awesome because of your inspiration photo. Thanks for sharing that idea.

Wow! Love this! Such a striking color combo and such a unique design!
And oh, those photos are gorgeous! I'm jealous. We certainly don't get landscapes like that in Florida. Ugh! :(
