You Are Too Kind

Happy Saturday! Today I'm sharing a card I created using the most recent sketch over at the Paper Craft Crew Challenge.

Here's the sketch:

And here's my take:

Don't you just LOVE that beautiful layered die-cut butterfly?!?! It's the Genevieve Butterfly (layers B and C) from Birch Press Design, which was gifted to us at a recent craft retreat! A HUGE THANK YOU to Birch Press Design for their kindness and generosity!!!

There are three layers in the Genevieve Butterfly Collection---you can use all three or use them individually or mix and match combinations of the layers. So much fun! You will definitely be seeing more creations with this die set on my blog very soon!

Thanks for visiting!

It is lovely used alone and made a sweet card. I love the font and the sentiment. Fun wonky stitching around the card.

My theory is: if you start with a gorgeous stripe and add wood-grain paper in gray, and add that perfect slip of vellum: ALL the other elements will be stand-out fantastic ... you've proven my theory here, Lisa! Gorgeous orange, too!

I love the faux sewing details around your layers - didn't spot them until I had a closer look - that extra detail is the perfect touch! Thanks for participating in our Paper Craft Crew challenge this week.

Lisa, WOW, I love your card with the paper piecing on the butterfly along with the diagonal line of the background. The tag overall is very cute. Gorgeous, yet simple color scheme. Thank you for playing along with the Paper Craft Crew. Look for your card to be featured on our Top Picks post.
