Irish Chickies

I'm up on the DeNami Design Blog today! This week we’re sharing some super fun DeNami Design products that are perfect for making St. Patrick’s Day cards/projects! I couldn’t resist inking up these adorable Irish Chickies for my card!!

I started with an A2 white card base and embossed it with a linen pattern. It’s subtle but adds a nice hint of texture to the white space. I stamped the Irish Chickies and Happy St. Patrick’s Day sentiment onto a white panel, colored the image with markers, and matted it to a slightly larger dark brown panel. I adhered a strip of patterned paper to the left side of the card base and then attached my focal panel with foam squares. To finish, I added a few glittery enamel dots.

Do you make cards and/or do anything special to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? I’ll be whipping up some Irish Stew (one of my husband’s favorite dishes).

Thanks for visiting! Have a great week!

I really like how simple this card layout is...doesn't distract from the cute images and your coloring.
