You Are Too Kind

On March 1st I celebrated my 40th birthday! And thanks to my husband, family and friends it was the most AMAZING birthday celebration EVER---full of BIG SURPRISES and TONS of FUN!!! (More about that in a future post.)

I have lots of thank you notes to make and send to these incredible people in my life, so I've been busy getting inky!

Today I made a thank you card using Freshly Made Sketches #127:

Here's my take on these three challenges:

Shortly before my birthday I won a gift certificate to Avery Elle and purchased my very first Avery Elle stamps and dies (Thank you, Avery Elle!!!). I LOVE THEM!!! This card features the Laurels stamp set and the Pinked Elle-ments dies. I absolutely adore the sketchy look of the flowers and the font of the sentiments in this set! And the dies cut like butter!!! The little banner is cut from a denim canvas sheet and it cut perfectly.

I was inspired by the gorgeous flowers and colors in the Curtain Call inspiration photo. Plus...when I think "Farm Fresh"...I think of denim and gingham (dressed up with a few pearls of course *wink*).
