Summer Splash Blog Hop With DeNami Design

Hi there and welcome to your final stop on DeNami Design's Summer Splash Blog Hop!!! If you're on track, you've arrived here from Stacy's GORGEOUS blog! If not...no worries...you can start at the beginning by heading over to the DeNami Design Blog!

I'm always sketching out LOTS of ideas for cards and other handmade goodies, and today's project came from my collection of scribbles.

I cut three 4.5" x 3.25" masks from Stamping Mask Paper (Inkadinkado) and placed them in the centers of three 5.5" x 4.25" white cardstock panels. I used DeNami's Three Line Border N128 stamp to create the plaid patterns. Then, I removed the masks, drew in some stitched lines, and stamped a different sentiment on the top of each. Lastly, I embellished each card with paper pieced/fussy cut fruits from the Tropical Fruit Stamp Set PF10 (DeNami Design)---leaving plenty of room for a handwritten message.

Here's a closer look at each notecard:

These were super fun and simple to make!!! And trust me...I now have another half dozen ideas jotted down in my notebook for creating more of these in different themes!!!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!!! Hope you enjoyed all of the FABULOUS summer-themed creations by all of our talented participants!!!!

Remember to leave a comment on this post and each participant's post along the hop for a chance to win a prize!!! DeNami Design is giving away THREE gift certificates to their on-line store (TWO to random commenters and ONE to a random participant)! You have until July 15, 2013 at 11:59PM PST to comment!!! Good Luck!!!

Those are some super cute notecards! I love the little images in the corner and the bright, fun colors. I have been lacking on my blog lately enjoying the summer too much. It is too bright and sunny to sit inside and craft. I would rather be outside enjoying the sun. LOL! How is your summer going? Any fun vacations on the horizon?
