Cupid Chickie

Happy Saturday! I've been having LOTS of FUN in my craft studio recently! Here's a little number I whipped up for the most recent 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge!!!

I had the gray card with the tone-on-tone plaid already stamped from a previous project where I ultimately opted to use a different color card base. I also had the heart doily, the die-cut shimmery pink doily, the die-cut circles, and the die-cut banner in a pile of random pieces on my craft table. All of those things combined made pulling this card together a snap. I just had to stamp the "xoxo" on each end of the banner, stamp that HANDSOME little Cupid Chickie onto the scalloped circle and color him, die-cut the celery green piece, tie on the pink grosgrain ribbon, adhere my layers together and VOILA!

Just made it!!! Shweew! (thus the knot instead of a bow...ha!)

I had a TON of FUN playing in this challenge! It's the PERFECT way to use up a bunch of those bits and pieces that are piling up on my craft studio workspace!!! (You know...the ones that I keep telling myself I'll use someday, but then NEVER do! Well...until now! YAY!)

Thanks for stopping by!

As sweet as can be Lisa! Way to use up your bits and pieces and I agree go with a knot I always fuss WAY too long on my bows LOL!! It's a riot to get it done in ten minutes huh...but you ROCKED this one!!!

I got so giddy when I saw your name come up in the link widget, Lisa. I always know I'm in for a treat when I visit your blog- especially if it features DeNami!

Fabulous use of the colors- I am in love with that heart doily! Also, I think the knot looks great- a bow might have even distracted from the adorable chickie! :)

Thank you for playing in the 10 Minute Craft Dash. I hope you'll join along again!
