Pretty Packaging Blog Hop

Hello, blog friends, and welcome to your next stop on DeNami Design's Pretty Packaging Blog Hop! If you're on track you've arrived here from Barbara's GORGEOUS blog! If not...no worries...you can head to the DeNami Design Blog to start at the beginning!

This is my first blog post in a VERY VERY long time!!! My husband and I just returned from a 5-month trip to New Zealand! It was an INCREDIBLE journey, and I'll be sure to share BUNCHES of photos and stories in my future blog posts! But, for now, let's get to my project for today's hop!!!

I decided to make my own wrapping paper using an old kraft shopping bag, several of my favorite festive DeNami Design stamps, and some red/brown/white ink.

Then, I wrapped a package, created a coordinating tag and added some DeNami Design grosgrain ribbon to finish it off:

A closer look:

I hope you like my project for today! Be sure to leave a comment! I'd LOVE to hear your feedback, PLUS...DeNami Design is giving away THREE gift certificates to their online store (TWO to random commenters and ONE to a random participant). Note: Comments must be received by Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:59PM PST in order to be eligible for a prize.

GOOD LUCK and HAPPY HOPPING!!!

I absolutely love your handmade wrapping paper! What a genius (and creative) way to recycle a paper bag. Also, I have to note, you do amazing things with that Small Dot Square- I need to pull that stamp out more often. You've inspired me! :)
