Sending A Flurry Of Love

I'm kinda sorta addicted to paper piecing, so I couldn't resist the most recent challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays!!!

Here's my creation:

I TOTALLY ADORE these little Pure Innocence images! They are all SO STINKIN' CA-UTE!!! Plus it's been snowing a bit here in the mountains recently, so I'm in a festive, wintery mood *wink*! (more on that at the end of this post)

Here's a closer look at this cutie patootie:

So...what do you think?

Several of you have asked how much snow we ended up getting in our most recent snowstorm (February 3rd and 4th), so I thought I'd share some photos. 40 inches of snow total! WOOHOO!!!

(View from our doorway next to the garage. This was the very start of our first 3 hour shoveling marathon on Friday afternoon. Our driveway heads straight ahead into that lovely wall of snow and then curves to the left and up along those pine trees. HA!)

(Tony digging out his truck. You can see it's still snowing too.)

(Me and my half-shovel...HA! See...I was working so hard I broke my darn shovel! Unfortunately that did NOT get me off the hook from shoveling duty! HA!)

(And finally...there's just somethin' special about snowy pine branches...And on a very happy note our good friends/neighbors invited us over for dinner/drinks/hot tubbin' that evening. Now THAT'S the way to enjoy the beauty of this AMAZING winter wonderland we live in!!!)

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you're having a FABULOUS week!

Seriously 40 inches???? We have got snow once and it melted by morning and it wasn't enough to even add up to an accumulation of an 1/2 inch.

Your paper piecing is too cute for words...you went to town girl! I love paper piecing too...just wish I had more time! This card is adorable!

Oh, Lisa, that polka-dot and plaid paper-pieced outfit is just ADORABLE!! You did a super job with it. :)

And I loved seeing all of your snow!! What you've got on the ground is about what we had last year, and now we've got nothing. I had to laugh at your broken shovel!!! Thanks for sharing your photos--so fun to see. :)

Thanks for sharing the snow pics. I have often thought about you lately wondering how much snow you ended up with. Sounds fun, especially the hot tub!!!
