DeNami Design Sneak Peek #1 - Butterflies

Hello, fellow DeNami Design fans! Today is THE DAY you've been waiting for!!! Today we're kicking off the sneak peeks for the AMAZING upcoming release at DeNami Design!!! I am SUPER EXCITED to share several cards/projects I created using some of the brand new images in the "Butterflies" collection!!! So...let's get to it!!!

My first card uses one of the GORGEOUS butterfly images from the new "Fancy Flutters Stamp Set"!

I simply stamped the image three times onto rectangular die-cuts and added brushes of color with my Copic Sketch Markers! Then, I added a touch of glitter over the coloring for some extra pizazz! SOOOO EASY, and I LOVE the results!!!! And did you know that beginning on March 1st DeNami Design will be carrying sampler packs of baker's twine from The Twinery?!?! WOOHOOO!!! I couldn't resist using some of it on this card! (Additional Note: The center background panel was handstamped with one of the new border stamps!!! LOVE IT!!! You'll learn more about these FABULOUS borders from Michele, Dana, and Paulina tomorrow!!!)

My next project is a set of note cards!

I stamped one of the larger butterfly images from the new "Fancy Flutters Stamp Set" onto the backside of three different patterned papers. Then I cut them out to create butterfly silhouettes! And of course I added some of that fabulous baker's twine too!!! Here's a closer look at each one:

My third card could be used as a sympathy card or as a card for someone who is ill, recovering from surgery, going through a difficult time in their life, etc. It uses the same image as my first card, but has a very different look. The "praying for you" sentiment is also a new release!

My final project is a topper for a goodie bag! I used the same butterfly image that I used to create the silhouettes on my note card set, but this time I stamped and paper pieced it! You didn't really think you'd get through this entire post without seeing some paper piecing, did you??? HA! I also stamped the tiny butterfly from the new "Fancy Flutters Stamp Set" in the background with Versamark ink!

These glassine bags are one of the new products DeNami Design will be carrying beginning on March 1st!!! They're available in FIVE different sizes! Here I used the 4 3/4" x 6 5/8" bag. They make FANTASTIC goodie bags! You could fill them with crafty supplies such as mini bundles of baker's twine, buttons, die-cut shapes, embellishments, etc. for your crafty friends! Or, you can fill them with candy or other treats for friends, co-workers, kiddos, family, etc.!!

I hope you've enjoyed my cards/projects today and are as excited about the upcoming DeNami Design release as I am!!!!

Wow, these are all really beautiful. Love LOVE the color combo and style of your first card. Clean lines and lovely masculine colors. I could see myself using this combo for hubby...or my nephew. The notecards are so sweet. Would make lovely gift cards, too. My favorite is your goodie bag topper! Such a terrific idea. I often use brown paper bags in lieu of wrapping paper, so this is a wonderful way of turning something plain into something extra special. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hard to pick favorites, but your first card absolutely astounded me the second I saw it on the DeNami blog--I've got to try that! I have a bunch of COPICS but I'm not good at coloring, so this may be the technique for me! Love the set of cards, too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love the fun color combo on the first card. It isn't one I would have put together, but I may in the future!

The note cards are so sweet and cute! Love the mix of patterns and colors!

The third card is so simple and elegant. Love the contrast of the sentiment and the single blue butterfly.

Don't know what it is about that floral paper, but I love it on all of the projects! Your bag topper just pops with that paper against the craft!

Love 'em all, Lisa!
