Taylored Expressions Blog Hop

Hey there! Welcome to your next stop on the August Blast From the Past Blog Hop! It's my very first time hopping with Taylored Expressions, and I'm SO EXCITED to be here!!!

The theme for this hop is "Collectors Anonymous," which, as it turns out, is right up my alley! I am totally guilty of hoarding crafty supplies---patterned paper, ribbon, washi tape, embellies, and even stamps. Yep...I have WAY TOO MANY stamps currently residing in my craft studio that have never seen ink. Eeek! It's not that I don't LOVE these stamps...I DO!!! It's more like this...I see the sneak peeks/projects and decide I must have said stamps. I order and receive said stamps. I ink up some of said stamps (staying very crafty and busy) while the others go into baskets or onto shelves. And before you know it...another fabulous release rolls around and the whole cycle repeats! (Please tell me I'm not alone!)

So here I am inking up (for the very first time) "Make a Wish" from Taylored Expressions! I bought this set AGES ago, and I totally ADORE it!

I just LOVE that whimsical cake image---SOOO PERFECT for paper piecing (one of my favorite techniques)!!! Here's a closer look:

I'm going to send this to my mom---her birthday is this Sunday! I hope she likes it!!!

Thanks so much for hopping along today!!! I hope you're enjoying all of the creative inspiration!

Lisa, you are most certainly not alone in your hoarding of stamps, er, large collection of uninked stamps. ;) For the first time, I'm starting to feel like I shouldn't buy anymore for a while. *gasp* Like that's ever going to happen. LOL I really love the colours and papers on your card! The stitching and piecing look great together.
