Shop 52 Denver - Thirteen: {Pome}

Hello there! It's time for our final Shop 52 Denver post for the month of February! That means it's GIVEAWAY time!!! YAY!! I'll get to that in a few minutes. First let's take a look at an incredibly charming shop located on Gaylord Street (in the same neighborhood as Silk Road, The Paper Lady, and The Tended Thicket---all of which I've spotlighted in previous posts). This, my friends, is Pome!

Let's just say they had me at the trendy dress form decked out in an apron! CA-UTE!

And who can resist an old fashioned candy counter?!?! Not me! Remember Rain-Blo gum, Lemonheads, Sugar Daddy, Jawbreakers, Candy Cigarettes---my friends and I used to go crazy for this stuff when we were kids! Ahhh...the memories!

Check out this FABULOUS selection of ribbon!! (And yes...those are licorice super ropes hanging on the hook on the right hand side of the photo! HA!)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the old fashioned cash register and service bell!! Wouldn't those make fantastic stamp images?!?!

These felted flower pins are ADORABLE, and I think they'd make BEAUTIFUL embellishments for a card!! It would turn the card into a card/gift combo!!! Hmmm...making a note to venture back to Pome and pick some of these up *wink*!

These bags are created from old PVC banners that were once used for marketing and/or advertising! Such a cool concept and incredible way to recylce banners that would otherwise end up in the trash!

LOVE the homespun feel of these stitched canvas notebook covers!

Whimsical artwork is displayed throughout the store as well.

And check out these reusable sandwich bags---LOVE the polka dots and color combo!

So...how did you like your virtual visit to Pome?

As promised I have a GIVEAWAY! To enter, just leave a comment on this post telling me what you liked the best about Pome! For additional chances to win, you can also comment on my previous Shop 52 Denver posts for the month of February (I've linked them to the end of this post to make it easy peasy for you!)! That means you can have up to FOUR chances to win!!! You have until Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:59pm (mountain time) to comment. At that time, I'll take all of the comments from the month of February and randomly draw ONE winner!

Here's the prize:

The vintage clothespins were purchased at Pome. The stamped muslin bag contains four block print cards, which could easily be turned into fabulous tags or embellishments for cards or other paper projects. I purchased those at The Paper Lady (spotlighted HERE). The ribbon was purchased at a store that I'll be introducing you to in March!

Isn't that a SUPER FUN little prize package!!! It's the least I can do for all of your sweet comments and continued support of the Shop 52 Project!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope your week is off to a FABULOUS start!
