Hi there! Just wanted to pop in today and show you a cute little set of notecards that I made for our friends and neighbors, Nori and Arthur.
It all started when I saw this bear image from Earth Art International. Arthur & Nori have a special connection with bears, and I just knew they would LOVE this image. When I went onto the Earth Art International website I was amazed by Sue Coccia's artwork and just had to order a coyote too. We frequently see coyotes in our canyon and hear them yipping in the middle of the night.
I stamped the bear image in Onyx Black Versafine ink (Tsukineko). Then, I created the border using "For the Love of Dots" (Practicing Creativity Designs) and my black Copic Sketch Marker.
Here's the coyote:
The simple kraft and black color combo was inspired by these file folders that I bought at Office Max awhile back.
The set I created contains 4 notecards (2 bears and 2 coyotes).
I made a tag using "Fillable Frames #1" (Papertrey Ink), its corresponding die, and a sentiment from "Everyday Button Bits" (Papertrey Ink). Then, I packaged each notecard with an envelope in a cellophane bag, tied some raffia around the stack and attached the tag. For a festive fall touch, I added the felt leaves (Creative Impressions) with some twine.
Here's how the final package looks:
So, what do you think? I hope Nori and Arthur will enjoy this little surprise package!
One more thing before I go:
Today is the last day to head on over to DeNami Design for a chance to win a gift certificate to their store!!!! So, if you haven't already, get on over there and enter right away!
Have a great day! Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

The bottome card is gorgeous! I love the red leaf on the craft paper, it really stands out.
These seem perfect! I can't believe that is a stamp! Holy cats!
So cute! Love the way you used For the Love of Dots!
Lisa these are awesome!! The black on kraft is scrumptious!! Looking forward to seeing you in a few days!! :)
Lisa, these look great! It seems like the stamp images are enough to stand alone. They are stunning as they are! But Courtney's set does indeed add just the perfect touch to compliment the images. What a beautiful set! I really love the way you packaged the cards up too. The leaves are so pretty. Great work! I'm sure Nori & Arthur will love it! :)
Awesomeness gf!!!
