2S4Y - Kazan's Sketch #51

I love playing along with the weekly sketch challenges at 2 Sketches 4 You, and this week was no exception! Check out the challenge details and the awesome creations made by all of the participants HERE

Here's the sketch:

And here's my creation:

Yep! I FINALLY got my grubby little hands on a couple of Pure Innocence images from My Favorite Things!!! I have to say this may be one of my favorite cards that I've ever created!! I am so excited about how it turned out!

I paper pieced her little dress using patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket's "Early Bird" collection.

The layered tree leaves in the corner are actually a result of a mistake I made. Oops. But it worked out in the end. Ha! And that sentiment totally makes me smile!!!

I created the grassy strip by just randomly cutting slits with my scissors going this way and that way! Fun!

What do you think? Leave me a comment! I'd love to hear from you!!! And...if you're in the Denver/Golden area, let me know. I'm working on trying to get a group of us to actually meet up in person!!!!

Wow, that's got to be my most favorite card of yours I've ever seen too! She's so sweet with her pieced dressed and colored in face! And that oops, it's a great idea! I would have never know. I don't live in your area, but it sounds like a really fun idea, I could use some IRL stamping buddies!

What is adorable card. I love the sentiment, the image, the gorgeous patterned paper, the grass fringe, the colors, the "mistake" in the corner (it adds great dimension) and pretty much every other element on your card.
