Compose a Card with Becky #6

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Here's a card I created for the most recent "Compose a Card with Becky" challenge!

It's based on this recipe:

These challenges are so much fun! Every Tuesday Becky provides the "recipe" (like the one above), a video, music, an inspiration photo, and a sample!! Then, you take all of that great inspiration, turn into a project of your own, and link it to her site!

I used my white Zing! embossing powder to emboss the flower images (Art Impressions). I then embossed the flower twice on a separate piece of gray cardstock and fussy cut a couple of the petal layers to layer on top of the flower in the corner of the card. I felt like it still needed a little something, so I dry embossed the stems and leaves on the top and left sides (They don't show up so great in the photo. Sorry about that.)

The button was a total fluke. It's actually two buttons that were stuck together in my stash! I picked it up, thinking it was one button, and said, "Wow! What luck! This is the perfect button for this card!" Then, when I turned the button over to thread the floss through, the smaller button in the middle fell out. So, I stuck it back in there and threaded them together! HA! Too funny!

Here's a close-up:

The recipe calls for Enchanted Evening Satin Riboon, but I don't have any of that (or ANY dark blue or navy satin ribbon), so I used white instead.

What do you think?

Awesome--love it! Great job with all the dimension. I like how you added the touch of dry embossing and layered one flower. And a 'layered' button too--how fun!
