Baby Notecards

Today's creation is a set of notecards that I made as a baby gift for my friends, Lauren and Mark, and their new little bundle of joy, Jonathan.

I dry embossed the image using an embossing plate and a light box. Then I added color with markers. I was really happy with the way it turned out. They're much cuter in person---this photo isn't the best. The main white panel is also embossed with dots (Bazzill), but it doesn't show up very well in the picture.

I also stamped white circle-shaped seals with a cute elephant image in gray ink. I wrapped each notecard along with an envelope and a seal in individual cellophane bags. I then gathered a stack of 8 and tied them all together with white ribbon and a handmade tag. It made a really sweet little package. I wish I had taken photos of the package before I shipped it, but I didn't. Bummer. Sorry about that.

Here's a group shot of 3 finished notecards.

The notecards are blank inside. This will allow Lauren and Mark to use them for any number of occasions (thank you notes, announcements, etc.).

Let me know what you think of my notecard creations!! I LOVE receiving comments!!!
