TCP Tuesday Inspiration Challenge

I've been having TONS of FUN playing along with the TCP Tuesday Challenges!! This time it was an "Inspiration Challenge." Check out the complete challenge details and all of the fabulous entries HERE. This is the "inspiration" photo:

And here is my creation:

The little owl image is from the "Fright Night Clearly Swanky Set" (The Cat's Pajamas). I stamped it 5 times in "Caramel" ink (Adirondack) on tan cardstock, once on white cardstock in "Onyx Black" ink (VersaFine), and then 3 times on patterned paper ("Halloween-Digit" by We R Memory Keepers). I then cut the wings and body of the owl from the patterned paper and adhered them to the image of the owl that I had stamped onto the white cardstock. Next, I colored the owl's toes and beak with Copic Sketch Markers. Finally, I cut out the owl and glued on the wiggly eyes. He turned out pretty cute I think!

I drew the tree branch in pencil and then colored it with Copic Sketch Markers.

Hope you think it's a HOOT!!!
