For A Very Special Person

I rarely make square cards, so when I saw the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches I really wanted to play along to stretch myself a bit creatively. Sneaking this one in just before the deadline ;)

Here's the sketch:


And here's my take:


This Mandala stamp from Sugar Pea Designs in so gorgeous! Using the MISTI, I stamped the image in Lime Rickey (Catherine Pooler). Then I used an ink dauber to add Grass Skirt (Catherine Pooler) to the center section and stamped it again. I really love the two-toned look.


 While I was at it I made a second card with the same design (just changed up the sentiment and only added one gem to the center of the mandala).

Beautiful mandala! And yes, I agree, it looks fantastic in two colors. So glad you were able to get this in under the wire at Freshly Made Sketches!
