Truly Grateful

Happy World Card Making Day!!!

Today I'm playing along with Reverse Confetti's October Stock Your Stash Challenge. The theme for this month is "Thanksgiving and Friendship." I'm also linking this up to Simon Says Stamp's World Card Making Day Giveaway:

I used my current favorite Reverse Confetti stamp set and coordinating dies, Fall Foliage, and created two similar but slightly different cards. Here's a look at the first one:

I heat embossed a bunch of leaves and foliage in white and then water colored them with Zig Clean Color markers and a paintbrush. Then I die-cut them out and adhered them to my card base.

With the extra leaves and foliage I created a second version of this card:

I've been so inspired by the Fall color here in the mountains. Thought I'd share a few photos: (1) views during a hike on Ptarmigan Trail in Summit County, (2) aspen trees on our property, and (3) our sweet pup, Pepper.

Hope you're having a super fun day!!!

Thanks for visiting!

Your card is lovely but it is over shadowed by the awesome pictures of your hike scenery and stunning trees. We don't have very many leaves changing yet in the midwest but I do love all the fall colors too. Pepper is adorable with that sweet face. What a wonderful place you live in and perfect for a dog to join you on a hike.
