Today I'm sharing a Mother's Day card I made for the current Inspired By All The Little Things Challenge.
Here's the gorgeous inspiration photo:
And here's my take:
This was my first attempt at coloring with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, and I really enjoyed it!!! I still need a lot of practicing of course but it's lots of fun and I like the results. I'm still a bit heavy-handed. And I think I'd like to try some other cardstocks out that have more of a tooth, so I can get a better blend. Also thinking I need more pencils (imagine that!! hahaha!) to have a little bit wider range of colors (I only bought the set of 24 to start).
The card features a beautiful stamp set from Studio Katia called Spring Bouquet. A HUGE THANK YOU to Studio Katia for gifting this to us at a recent stamping retreat!!! I love it! The sparkling crystals are also from Studio Katia---so pretty in person!
I mailed this off to my mom for Mother's Day. Hope she likes it!!!
Thanks so much for visiting!
Have a great week!
