Bestest Wishes

Hello there! A couple of weekends ago I spent three full days stamping away at The Craft House in Kansas with 16 amazing friends!!! I loved every minute of it! Lots of laughs, tons of inspiration, and so much fun! I hope to have a chance to do it all again soon! Spending time with these girls is soooo good for the soul!

During the retreat I had a chance to borrow some fabulous MFT goodies including: Birthday Wishes & Balloons Stamp Set, Make A Wish Stamp Set, Die-namics Birthday Candles, and Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX. These were the perfect ingredients for creating a birthday card for a special friend. I put the final touches on the card a couple of days ago. Here's how it turned out:

We were surrounded by rainbows at The Craft House, so I couldn't resist using a rainbow color palette for the candles on this card. The flames were die-cut and then colored with Copic markers. I also added a touch of sparkle to each flame with a Clear Wink Of Stella glitter pen.

I'm playing along with the Seize the Birthday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

Thanks for visiting!
