Coffee and Donut Gift Card Holder

Hello there! I'm up on the DeNami Design Blog today!

This week our DT projects are all about “Coffee/Tea and Donuts”---a winning combination if you ask me! I love hot tea. My current favorite is Bolder Breakfast from a local shop called The Tea Spot. It’s a black tea with a hint of chocolate, and it’s divine! I also love the glazed chocolate cake donuts at Dunkin’ Donuts. YUMMY!

My brother’s birthday is coming up. He’s a big fan of Dunkin’ Donuts (especially their coffee). So, for my project, I decided to make a gift card holder to package up a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card as a little surprise birthday treat for him.

I stamped the “I need…” sentiment from the CRM02 Café Clear Stamp Set and the NEW CL-D186 Coffee and Donut image onto a die-cut circle. I added color with markers, a touch of sparkle with a glitter pen, and then attached it to a gift card holder that I die-cut from double-sided patterned paper. (Note: Here's a link for a video by Nina Yang showing how to create shaped gift card holders using the Simply Tags Love Notes Dies from Avery Elle. Super fun!)

This was so simple to make, and I think it turned out really great! I hope my brother likes it!

Thanks for visiting! Have a fantastic week!
