Popping in really quickly to share a birthday card I made for my nephew. I used the sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge 198:
...and some oldies (but goodies) that I uncovered in my craft studio while cleaning and reorganizing (a project that is STILL underway, but will hopefully be done very soon).
My nephew is studying at the Naval Academy and his dream is to fly, so I tried to incorporate these things into my design. I also used a roller date stamp to stamp his actual birthday in the top right-hand corner of the patterned paper. I love adding personal touches like that to my cards.
I hope he likes it!
Thanks for visiting! Have a great week!

Cool masculine card. I stare at my craft area thinking of what I need to do and then just don't do it. Thinking is better than not right?!
I love this from scrappy card!
Awesome guy card and I love the plane and date - such great details! Do we really ever actually finish the cleaning and reorganizing? I feel like it's pretty much an ongoing project... :)
