Chickie Couture #16 and a GIVEAWAY!

Popping in today with my newest installment of Chickie Couture for DeNami Design!

We're gearing up for summer here in the mountains, and that means LOTS of outdoor fun! Thus, the inspiration behind my creation for today! Here we go:

This time around, Chickie is hanging out in his canoe on a pristine lake at the base of the mountains! Ahhh...can't wait to be in his position...

I drew the canoe by hand and stamped it with the chevron border. I stamped the chickie image, added some color with markers, cut him out and placed him "in" the canoe with a hand-drawn wooden paddle. The mountains were hand-drawn onto two different shades of gray cardstock, and some blue cardstock was added to create the lake at the base. And of course I just had to add some cute little clouds to complete the scene.

I think this would make a great Father's Day card or a perfect birthday card for someone who loves the outdoors!
