Polka Dot Hearts

Hey there! Today I'm sharing a card I created for Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #123. Here's the sketch:

I needed to make a Valentine's Day card for my sweet little friend. She and her parents are from Spain, but they're spending this school year here in Colorado while her father teaches at the local university. My husband and I recently had them up to our house for a hike and lunch. They are wonderful people, and the little one and I became fast friends---especially once she discovered my craft studio. We spent quite a bit of time getting crafty before and after our hiking/lunch adventure, and she LOVED every minute of it! She has sent us a couple of letters since then, so I wanted to make sure I sent her something special for Valentine's Day. I made her this card:

And then I made a coordinating gift bag filled with crafty supplies:

I hope she likes it!!!

Your gift bag and card are so cute! I am sure she will be thrilled.
It's so much fun having a crafty pal in the craft room. Our granddaughters and nieces, even our grandsons, all love spending time in mine and I love the imagination and creativity that they use to come up with so many awesome projects.
It's a wonderful place to bond and listen to their thoughts and dreams.

This is so cute for a little girl. And craft supplies, she will be thrilled. Kids are naturally in love with crafting from the time they start coloring. Even my grandson will ask to make a card when he comes here.

Lisa I love this so I KNOW your little friend must have as well. How thoughtful of you:) Don't you love introducing arts and crafts to kids? They appreciate the wonder and free-form play of it so much better than adults IMHO. You are spectacular...wish we could get together and be crafty!
