Chickie Couture #9 and a Giveaway!!!

Hello! Popping in today with my next installment of "Chickie Couture" for DeNami Design!

It's my pleasure to introduce to you...

Sherlock Holmes Chickie!

He was super easy and fun to make! I stamped the Large Chickie image onto yellow cardstock, added some color with markers, and cut him out. Then, I drew his hat and pipe by hand onto cardstock and patterned papers and paper pieced them together.

I cut a 2 1/4" x 6 3/4" strip of kraft cardstock to create a bookmark. (Appropriate...don't ya think?!?!) I repeatedly stamped the Houndstooth Background to cover the bookmark. Then, I rounded the corners, punched a hole at the top and tied on some baker's twine. Finally, I cut a smaller piece of kraft cardstock, stamped the Stitched Border at the top and bottom, adhered it to the bookmark and attached my Sherlock Holmes Chickie.

Wouldn't it be fun to tuck this into a mystery novel and give it as a gift to someone who loves to read?!?!

Now...it's time for a GIVEAWAY!!!

Just leave a comment on this post for a chance to win: one CL-E144 Thankful For You stamp, one CL-GD010 Solid Leaves stamp set, and one Quickie Glue Pen. All comments must be received by Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:59PM PST. The lucky winner will be announced here on my blog on Sunday, October 20th.

Thanks for stopping by!
