Baby Elephant

Hello there! It's "Product Spotlight" time at DeNami Design! The star of the show today...the newly released G152 Elephant!

How can you not fall in love with that sweet little guy?!?! He's perfect for paper piecing (which, of course, makes ME love him all the more *wink*) but he's also ideal for coloring!

And check this out---I stamped the background with the newly released Solid Block Border K86 image---turns out, the spacing between the blocks is just big enough for a Dew Drop or Cat's Eye ink pad to fit it! This makes it super duper easy to ink each block individually with different colors!! So, you can create any color combination you choose!!! TONS of FUN!

The sentiment is the Small Baby Script E68. And don't you just LOVE that decorative button??? That was in my bag of white Boutique Buttons that I won in one of the DeNami Design challenges in 2010! If you've never participated in the DeNami Challenges, you should DEFINITELY do so in 2011! They're great for your creative mojo and there are lots of awesome prizes up for grabs! The first challenge for this year is coming up on January 17th!!! Be sure to check it out!

So...what do you think? I can guarantee you that you'll be seeing more of this little character in future posts on my blog!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you're feeling inspired to get inky and create something fabulous! For even more ideas head on over to the DeNami Design Blog to check out the AMAZING "Product Spotlight" cards/projects created by my fellow DT girls!!!

This little card is so perfectly cute! The paper pieced elephant is adorable, and I love the layering you did with the blue felt and Mat Stack. And I totally thought that was patterned paper. Love that you made your own paper!
