Shop 52 Denver-Three: {Nosh Nest} and a Giveaway!

Hello there and welcome to my third installment of Shop 52 Denver! Today we're heading to LoDo (AKA: Lower Downtown Historic District of Denver) to a sweet little shop called the Nosh Nest!

The Nosh Nest is a specialty kitchen store that offers gourmet foods and a wonderful selection of decor, linens, and useful gizmos for your kitchen! I absolutely could not resist taking a peek inside this precious little shop!

The store is located at 1541 Platte Street, Denver, CO 80202. You can visit their website (and the website of their sister store, Rejuvanest) at http://www.noshnest.com/

There's a feeling of warmth and coziness that surrounds you while you browse. The hardwood floors, the natural light, the organic elements that are found throughout the shop, the distressed tabletops, and the careful way with which each item is displayed.

I so wanted to take this chandelier home with me!!! LOVE IT!

I DID manage to take one of these packages home with me! I chose "Cindy's Sinfully Chocolate Brownie Mix!" (I'll let you know how they taste once I bake them!!) These baked good mixes are packaged by participants of the "Women's Bean Project," which is a nonprofit business that employs women who have experienced poverty or challenging life situations. They also sell soup mixes and a variety of other products. You can learn more about the project at http://www.womensbeanproject.com/ Wouldn't one of these make a cool stocking stuffer or gift for a party hostess?!! And what a worthwhile cause!

LOVE these clocks!

Their website states, "Creator, owner and operator Brenda Meyers is inspired by birds and their daily activities of caring for themselves, their young and their homes." As you browse through the store, you'll notice a subtle theme of birds in the wire shelving, wall hangings, and displays.

Such a super sweet display of goodies for preparing and serving desserts! I'm thinking there will definitely be a card coming out of this inspiration photo---my DeNami cupcake stamps need to see some ink!!!

And how about this old washtub full of handmade pasta!

Don't you just love the organic look of these pitchers?! They would look so great in my kitchen! Adding those to the wish list for sure!

I absolutely ADORED this store and will be sure to visit them again! I'm also anxious to check out their sister store, Rejuvanest!! I've added it to my Shop 52 Denver list of stores to explore!

How about a GIVEAWAY?!?! YAY!!! I just HAD to pick up a set of these sweet kitchen towels to give to ONE lucky winner!

To enter, just leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite thing from the photos/info about the Nosh Nest! You have until Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:59 PM (mountain time) to enter. At that time, I will draw one lucky commenter's name from a hat and announce the winner on my blog on Thursday, December 23rd! Good Luck!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying these Shop 52 Denver posts as much as I'm enjoying visiting all of these wonderful little stores!
