Tuesday Trigger: Poolside Inspiration

Hi there! I couldn't resist the most recent Tuesday Trigger inspiration photo over at Moxie Fab World!!! Click HERE to checkout the details and to find out how you can play along!

Here's the inspiration photo (isn't it so inviting?):

And here's my take:

I felt like the inspiration photo had such a clean, fresh, and relaxing feel to it, and I tried to capture that in my card. I also wanted to make sure I pulled in the aqua blue color from the swimming pool.

I stamped the polka dots with aqua ink on kraft cardstock. Then I stamped the violet over the top with onyx black ink. I created the flower center with three mini brads, then cut out the flower and popped it up with pop dots.

I embossed the main white panel with the new Woodgrain Impression Plate from Papertrey Ink. I was really excited the way it turned out! Then, I stamped the sentiment in fresh green directly onto the panel (trying to keep with that fresh & clean theme).

I off-set the DP behind the white panel to simulate how the pool is only showing in the corner of the photo.

So...what do you think?

Thank you so much for all of your recent comments!!! I truly appreciate your support and encouragement!

Hope your week is off to a GREAT start! Thanks for stopping by!
