Chickie Couture #6

Hi there, blog friends! Today I'm sharing my latest "Chickie Couture" feature over at the DeNami Design Blog! This time around Chickie is having some serious summertime fun!!!

Introducing: Zip Line Chickie!

I stamped the Large Chickie I60 image and outfitted him/her with a hand-drawn helmet and harness. I really wanted to pop him up for dimension, so I ended up fussy cutting his legs from black cardstock and using a Quickie Glue Pen to adhere them.

The forest was created by stamping the Medium Pine I20 image and the Large Pine P04 image in two different shades of green. I stamped some of the trees directly onto the card front and a bunch onto separate scraps of white cardstock, so I could cut them out and add them to the card with different amounts of adhesive foam. (psst...I'm thinking this forest idea would be an awesome backdrop for the brand new camping and rv'ing chickies that just released this month too!!! I'll definitely be trying that out soon!)

Hope you like my creation for today! Now...how about a GIVEAWAY?!?! Just leave me a comment on this post for a chance to win:

* one Large Chickie I60 stamp
* one Hang In There F175 stamp
* one Medium Pine I20 stamp

Since I will be off having some summertime fun of my own...you have until July 31, 2013 at 11:59PM PST to comment!!! I'll randomly select one winner from all comments received and announce that winner here on my blog on August 1st!

Good luck and thanks so much for stopping by!!!
