Hello and welcome to your next stop on DeNami Design's Fancy Favors Blog Hop!!! If you're on track, you've arrived here from the ultra creative blog of Rochelle Washington! If not...no worries...you can head to the DeNammi Design Blog to start at the beginning!
I've been wanting to ink up my newest chickies, so I decided to make some favor boxes that would work perfectly for a Summertime party!
These came together in a snap and could be filled with fruity candies (Skittles, Starbursts, etc) or how about this...fruity lip balms (*squeal*)!!! Here's a close-up of each one:
There are quite a few good video tutorials on the web for making rosettes. For mine, I used strips of patterned paper measuring 12" x 1.25" which ends up being a nice size for decorating these 3x3 boxes. This was my first time making rosettes, and I learned a lot in the process! Looking forward to making more in the future to embellish my gift bags, tags, and cards!
Be sure to leave me a comment! I LOVE hearing your feedback! Plus...DeNami Design is giving away THREE gift certificates to their online store (ONE to a random participant and TWO to random commenters along the hop)! You have until April 15, 2013 at 11:59PM PST to comment for a chance to win!
Next stop: Tina Milbourn! And I bet she has something SUPER FUN to share!
Happy Hopping!!!
