With Sympathy

Today I'm sharing a card I made using this sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge #97:

I needed a sympathy card to send to a friend and this sketch was the perfect starting point. Here's what I came up with:

I LOVE paper-piecing these flowers from "Truth Is" by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, and I had Authentique's Be(you)tiful 6x6 Bundle sitting in my stash untouched (zoiks), so I definitely wanted to put those gorgeous papers to use. I know...I know...I definitely need to clean and organize my craft studio (AGAIN)! I'm sure I'll find all kinds of goodies I totally forgot about. HA!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, how pretty! Love the window opening (we had the same thought!) and the butterfly. The colors are so cheerful even though it's a sympathy card.

Love the flowers set inside the die cut. The colors in that paper are so spring like and pretty. I'm so ready for spring!
