Hello there and welcome to your next stop on the Tasty Treats Blog Hop!!! If you're on track you've arrived here from Jennifer Lobdell's fabulous blog! If not...no worries...just click HERE to start at the beginning!
Since Halloween is right around the corner, I decided to create a sweet little tasty treats package!
Did you know that DeNami Design carries a great selection of "Gifts and Favors Templates"? I created this package using their new "Small Pillow Box" template! It was SUPER EASY! The templates come pre-printed on white cardstock in packages of ten (or you can order a downloadable version). I just took the pre-printed template, flipped it over, and stamped my plaid pattern all over it. I cut on the solid lines, scored on the dotted lines and voila!...a cute little pillow box that can be filled with a Reese's Cup (my favorite) or various other Halloween treats! Then, I used some of my other DeNami goodies to decorate the box! Here's a closer look:
I LOVE that you can easily use this same pillow box template to create adorable packages for any occasion by simply changing up the color combos and stamped images you choose for decorating it! It's also the perfect size for holding a gift card!! I can't wait to make a bunch more of these for the upcoming holidays!!!
I hope you like my project and found lots of creative inspiration during today's hop! Be sure to leave a comment on my blog AND all of the other participants' blogs for a chance to win some AMAZING prizes!! You have until 11:59pm PST on September 12, 2011 to comment!
Now it's time to head on back to the DeNami Design Blog and let us know what you thought of the Tasty Treats Blog Hop!!! Thanks for joining us!!!
