Hello and welcome to your next stop on the DeNami Design Girlie Girl Blog Hop!!! If you're on track you've arrived here from Linda Nomura's fabulous blog! If not...no worries, you can start at the beginning by heading to the DeNami Design Blog!
When I think "GIRLIE" I think pink, flowers, ruffles, doilies, lace, bows, etc. Here's my Girlie Girl creation:
These patterned papers from the Kitch Collection by The Girls' Paperie have that perfectly dainty and classic girlie look I was going for. And keeping with that theme, I thought, what would be more delicate and dainty than a tiny bluebird perched on a paper pieced birdcage?!?! Ahhh....(And, I need to give a shout out to my fellow DT gals---I KNOW I've seen several of them place the birdcage on the pedestal image from DeNami Design and I just LOVE the way that looks, so I had to CASE the idea! Thanks, ladies!!)
I hope you like my card and are getting LOTS of inspiration from this SUPER FUN blog hop!!! Remember to leave a comment on each participant's blog by May 9, 2011 at 11:59pm PST! That way you'll have as many chances as possible to WIN one of the THREE gift certificates DeNami Design is giving away to their on-line store (TWO to random commenters and ONE to a random participant)!
And...there's an EXTRA challenge for EXTRA goodies!!! Check this out:
Extra Challenge: This blog hop filled SO quickly, so we thought we'd bring an additional opportunity for those who weren't able to get on the list, and also those blog hoppers who had additional girlie girl projects to share. We will have a link widget on the blog hop post where you can upload additional girlie girl creation(s). We'll choose one winner to be guaranteed a spot in the next blog hop AND they'll get to choose a few stamps of their choice!
Thanks for joining us today!!! Happy Mother's Day to all of the fantastic MOMS out there and Happy Hopping! Your next stop is Michele's uber inkalicious blog!!!
