With scallops as our theme for this blog hop and with Valentine's Day right around the corner, I couldn't resist creating a little Valentine's Day card!
The concept for this card started with the idea of creating a little flower out of the polka dot heart from the newly released Hearts Stamp Set PF 43 (DeNami Design). Isn't it sweet? (And my mind can't help but skip forward to St. Patrick's Day---wouldn't this make a fabulous Shamrock if you stamped it in green?!?!)
The scalloped edges were created using the Scalloped Scallop Border Punch by EK Success. Did you know that DeNami Design now carries several EK Success border punches in their on-line store? YAY! Click HERE to check them out!
I created the plaid using Angel Pink and Rose Bud Memento ink and my handy dandy Three Line Border stamp by DeNami Design! I know I've said it before, but I absolutely LOVE all of the creative possiblities this Three Line Border Stamp has to offer! I hope you don't get tired of seeing it used on my cards *wink*!
So...what do you think? Remember to leave a comment on each participant's blog for a chance to win a gift certificate to DeNami Design's on-line store!!! YAY!!!! Wouldn't THAT be a FANTASTIC way to start the new year?!?! You have until January 10, 2011 at 11:59 PM PST to comment!!! Good Luck!
Next stop on the hop...my sweet and talented fellow DeNami DT girl, Ayana!!!!
